A few days ago, in observance of Mental Health Day, our Pride Alliance committee hosted the conference ‘Mental Health Care during the coming out process.’
Edurne Balmori, the Executive Director of The Trevor Project Mexico, emphasized the importance of caring for our mental health as individuals. She shared insights on how we can become more empathetic and supportive of those going through the process of coming out, highlighting the significance of respecting each person’s unique timing and context during these processes.
We also learned about the vital work The Trevor Project is doing in Mexico, providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ+ youth.

We extend our gratitude to EY Mexico for hosting this event and to all those who joined us, whether in person or remotely.
Thank you for your contributions to LGBTI+ inclusion efforts!
