Based on the new Federal Law for the Protection of Data and Personal Information, the British Chamber of Commerce recognises the importance of Privacy and Security of Personal Information as a human right. The Chamber is therefore committed to protecting your personal information according to the highest standards of legal, technological and administrative security by not selling, renting, sharing or divulging your personal information to third parties by any unlawful means.

This privacy notice applies to all information, including personal information collected by the British Chamber of Commerce, as well as third parties with whom the Chamber has held or will hold any contact.

What information does the British Chamber of Commerce collect?

In general, personal information about any member or third party with whom they have contact. In collecting and processing this information the British Chamber of Commerce commits to always observing and complying with the law on Protection of Data and Personal Information, with your consent collecting relevant and accurate data only.

When do we collect information?

When a third party visits our website, they may able to see the name of the company, its website and address; any other information will be on the website but exclusive to members only via password login.

How do we use or share your information?

We use the information you provide us only to offer you the services you request. In general, we do not share your personal information with third parties, except other Chamber members and in appliance to the law.

We remind you that you regarding personal data protection, you can exercise your rights (“ARCO”) according to the following:

Access: You can contact the Chamber at the telephone number 52560901 to ascertain if the British Chamber of Commerce holds any of your personal information.

Correction: You will be able to request that we correct any of your information, in case we have registered any detail incorrectly.

Cancelation: You will be able to request that we cancel or remove your information provided there is cause to justify such action and that you have no outstanding obligation to meet with the British Chamber of Commerce.

Opposition: If you have no relation or legal obligation to the British Chamber of Commerce and decide not to contract any of our services, you can make use of this right and not provide any information about yourself.
